Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance

By using DocShop, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

DocShop provides document conversion tools (PDF merge, split, compress; DOCX, PPTX, XLSX conversion; JPG conversion; rotate and watermark). Files are processed in isolated containers and deleted within 1 hour.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use DocShop to:

• Process files containing illegal content
• Attempt to abuse rate limits or circumvent file-size restrictions
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to harm others or violate their rights

4. Paid plans

Paid subscriptions (Pro, Max) are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel anytime from account settings. You retain access until the end of your billing period. Refunds: 14-day full refund for new subscriptions; pro-rated refunds within 30 days.

5. Disclaimer

DocShop is provided "as is". We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all conversions will be pixel-perfect for every edge case. For mission-critical documents, please verify the output.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocShop's liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in BC courts.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to signed-in users and via a banner on the site.
